Training Stars are an indication of how well your horse trains in comparison to other horses on the site. The comparison is with other horses over the same surface and distance.
If you have subscribed to "Premium Features" (Which you should do).
On the horses main page, Click >"Training" >"View Records"
The information shown like that above will display
Potentially .............
I say potentially, as these stars just tell you how well the horse trains, NOT how well the horse will race.
It is NOT advisable to take the training stars too literally, there are many examples of yellow star horses being winning horses.
It is also possible to have training times with NO star(s) displaying. These horses are the lower end horses and are more difficult to win or place with.
Remember, after paying your race subscription, there is no further cost to nominating a horse to run.
Running races will add to your stables run tally which in turn will get you bonus credits.
Bonus credits will save you money and are especially important when breeding/evaluating, more about that on another page.
Note: Green star training always looks good, looking closer, the horse maybe the lower end of the green star range and very close to the blue star bracket.
Similarly, the horse may be at the top end of the blue star range and very close to be a green star.
In reality though, the green star horses are more likely to be better than blue star all things being equal.
Be aware though, Horse A maybe be doing green star times/training and Horse B may be doing blue star training. Horse B may if fact be the better horse, its just that, horse B is less mature and has more growth left and in time may pass out horse A.
These stars are based on comparing all the current farm training times of all the same age horses on the site. Therefore, they can change. For example, your horse is not showing much improvement, and other horses are doing better times, relegating your horse down the pecking order and his stars may change from green to blue or blue to yellow. The opposite can also happen if your horse improves more, relative to other same age horses.
